# Terms: what AI and data vendors say about your data > 63 answers for 17 AI and data vendors (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Microsoft, AWS, Mistral AI, Cohere, xAI and more) to seven questions: do they train on API data, on consumer app data, how long inputs are kept, how to opt out, whether zero data retention is available, whether subprocessors are listed, and where data is processed. Every answer quotes its clause word for word from the vendor's own page, by fru.dev. Every watched page (39 terms, privacy, documentation and subprocessor pages) is read every day at 06:40 UTC and reduced to its readable text; the text is hashed. When the hash changes the new text is diffed against the last version, the change is recorded with the added and removed paragraphs, and every answer quoting that page is looked for in the new text. A clause that left the page is flagged until a person re-reads it. Pages that block robots are read from their newest Internet Archive capture; older history comes from Internet Archive captures, dated by the capture that first shows the change.
